We'll begin the day with a light breakfast of pastries and a cup of coffee. Whilst we wait for all our guests to arrive, you can browse the flowers and pick out your favourite colour palettes.
Our first class of the day will be garden-inspired bouquets. Made with textural, seasonal flowers, our arrangements will be natural, romantic, a little wild, and finished with trailing ribbons of your choice.
We’ll have a delicious, home-cooked lunch - one of my Autumn recipes - that I'll prepare specially for the workshop. A moment to break from the making and get to know each other, talk flowers and recipes and it always seems to end in a lot of laughs.
After lunch, we’ll begin our urn arrangement class. I'll teach you my technique for building a captivating focal point for any event - one of my personal favourites in both teaching and creating! I’ll guide you through and give you all my tips and tricks and help you alter things if we need to. You’ll finish with a stunning and impactful urn arrangement that you can take home with you, as well as your bouquet.
We will finish our day with a cup of tea and a piece of cake as we wait for everyone to finish their arrangements. We'll then place your arrangements, one by one, on the table for you to take photographs of your work.
You’ll leave with goody bags full of your floral work from the day, plus homemade notebooks and a printed copy of 'The Flower Notebook'. This includes notes on my seasonal flower forecast, tips and tricks of the trade, the tools and equipment you need, the recipe of our lunch, and prop details.
You will have the opportunity to take any remaining flowers home with you, so you can continue your making flowers when you get home.
It was amazing to spend the day with you at the workshop. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it and how interesting and informative you made it. The flowers have lasted amazingly, and in fact, only this morning did I reluctantly - very reluctantly, have to put them on the compost. Everyone who came to the house commented on how beautiful they were.
