THE SPRING WORKSHOP
I am delighted to announce the date of our first, post-pandemic, in-person workshop!
We will be emersed in beautiful, seasonal flowers in a range of colour palettes that will inspire our arrangements. We will have lots of home-cooked delights, hot coffee, great company and a few extra treats throughout the day.
We currently only have this one workshop planned - this is going to be a celebration, something glorious we can look forward to. We may add other dates later on in the year, but in the meantime, the diary is now open and we’ll be taking bookings.
So, if you’d like to secure your spot, just email me at email@example.com.
You’ll be welcomed with a light breakfast of pastries and a cup of hot coffee. Whilst we wait for all our guests to arrive, you can browse the flowers and pick out your favourite colour palettes.
Our first class of the day will be garden-inspired bouquets. Made with fragrant Spring flowers, our arrangements will be natural, romantic, a little wild, and finished with trailing ribbons of your choice.
We’ll enjoy a home-cooked lunch of one of my Spring recipes that will be prepared specially for the workshop. This will be an excellent opportunity for me to get to know you while we have lunch amongst the flowers.
After lunch, we’ll begin our bowl arrangement class. You'll learn my techniques for building a captivating focal point on a dining table - one of my personal favourites in both teaching and creating! I’ll guide you through and give you all my tips and tricks and help you alter things if we need to. You’ll finish with a stunning arrangement that you can take home with you, as well as your bouquet.
For our final class, accompanied by tea and homemade cakes, I’ll show you how I dress and style a table. I’ll lead you through all the materials I use, where I source tableware and props, and what to think about when positioning. We’ll then place your arrangement you created earlier, one by one, on the table for you to take photographs of your work.
You’ll leave with goody bags full of your floral work from the day, plus homemade notebooks and a printed copy of 'The Flower Notebook'. This includes notes on my seasonal flower forecast, tips and tricks of the trade, the tools and equipment you need, the recipe of our lunch, and prop details.
You will have the opportunity to take any remaining flowers home with you, so you can continue your floral designing when you get home.
It was amazing to spend the day with you at the workshop. I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed it and how interesting and informative you made it. The flowers have lasted amazingly, and in fact, only this morning did I reluctantly - very reluctantly, have to put them on the compost. Everyone who came to the house commented on how beautiful they were.
