WORKSHOP

Our first workshop of 2023 will be held in a beautiful space in Soho, London. The entire day will celebrate the season we're in, from the food we eat to the flowers we work with, everything will be locally sourced and therefore sustainable. Using local means we'll get the best shapes, flavours and colours making all our arrangements even more interesting.

We'll begin the day with a light breakfast of pastries and coffee. Whilst we wait for all our guests to arrive, you can browse the flowers and pick our your favourite colour palettes.

Our first class of the day will be garden-inspired bouquets. Made with British, seasonal flowers, our arrangements will be natural, romantic, a little wild, and finished with trailing ribbons.

We’ll have a home-cooked lunch - a Spring recipe that I'll prepare for the workshop. A moment to break from the making to talk flowers and recipes.

After lunch, we’ll begin our bowl arrangement class. I'll teach you my technique for a spilling garden bowl. I’ll guide you through the steps, give you all my tips and tricks and help you alter things if we need to. You’ll finish with a beautiful bowl arrangement that you can take home with you, as well as your bouquet.

We will end our day with tea and a piece of cake as we wait for everyone to finish their arrangements. We'll then place your arrangements on the plinths for you to take photographs of your work.

You’ll leave with packaged bags, filled with your floral work from the day, plus a printed copy of 'The Flower Notebook'. This includes notes on my seasonal flower forecast, industry tips and tricks, the tools and equipment you need, the recipe for our lunch, and prop details.

You will have the opportunity to take any remaining flowers home with you, so you can continue your arranging.

I WAS SO LUCKY THAT I HAD THE CHANCE TO TAKE POPPY'S FLOWER WORKSHOP

during my business trip over London all the way from Seoul, Korea!

There were welcome teas, morning breads, loads of beautiful flowers, Poppy’s floral design tips, amazing quality photos from the workshop, and Poppy’s lovely homemade dishes with a glass of wine.
Everything about the workshop was perfect and made everyone so special.
If I have a chance to take her workshop again, I would definitely come and take the first seat.
