WORKSHOPS

2024

A/W TIMETABLE

Our new studio in Clapham is up and running and after a Summer of workshops, we are so excited to be adding more dates to the calendar. We have four A/W workshops leading us through Autumn to the run-up to Christmas.

Each class will have a theme and will incorporate different designs within each workshop - in the line up we have spilling garden bowls, statement autumnal urns, bushy Christmas wreaths, and dancing, shapely installations. The most important part is the ingredients, and in each workshop, we will be guided by the seasons choosing the best ingredients we can find.

A BIT ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS

We have two, full-day, A/W workshops available at our new studio in Clapham Old Town.

Each class will begin with pastries and coffee while waiting for everyone to arrive - this is a great moment to browse the flowers and pick your favourite colour palettes.

We split the day into two halves, morning and afternoon classes - each workshop slightly different with different themes - all though, made with British, seasonal flowers grown by our incredibly talented British growers.

We stop at lunchtime for a home-cooked, seasonal lunch - a moment to break from the making to talk flowers over a glass of wine and something delicious.

In the afternoon, we’ll start on our next class. I’ll guide you through the steps, give you all my tips and tricks and help you alter things if we need to. You’ll finish with beautiful, natural arrangements that you can take home with you.

We will end our day with tea and a piece of cake while allowing everyone to finish their arrangements. During this time, we'll get some photographs of your work which will be sent to you after the class.

You’ll leave with armfuls of flowers, your creations (those that can be transported), plus a printed copy of my 'Flower Notes'. This is a printed booklet of my notes on flower seasonality, industry tips and tricks, the tools and equipment you need, and prop details.

You will have the opportunity to take any remaining flowers home with you, so you can continue your arranging.

The Christmas wreath workshops have a slightly different formula - these days are half day classes running from 10am-1pm.

The studio will be filled with Winter pickings - lots of textural foliage, glossy berries and lichen branches for us to make our big blousy Christmas wreaths and we'll have mulled wine, coffee and mince pies-a-plenty to fuel us on those cold mornings. You'll leave with your wreath, adorned with ribbons and bells to decorate your front door and to see your through the Christmas season.

I WAS SO LUCKY THAT I HAD THE CHANCE TO TAKE POPPY'S FLOWER WORKSHOP

during my business trip over London all the way from Seoul, Korea!

There were welcome teas, morning breads, loads of beautiful flowers, Poppy’s floral design tips, amazing quality photos from the workshop, and Poppy’s lovely homemade dishes with a glass of wine.
Everything about the workshop was perfect and made everyone so special.
If I have a chance to take her workshop again, I would definitely come and take the first seat.
